The Austrian Conference has a new General Secretary

Since 4 May 2020, Sr. Christine Rod mc of the Order of the Missionary Sisters of Christ has held the position of General Secretary of the Conference of Major Superiors of Austria ÖOK.
The General Secretary is the link between the six-member Board of Directors of the ÖOK, headed by President Archabbot Korbinian Birnbacher and his deputy Sr. Franziska Bruckner, and the ÖOK office at the Schottenstift in Vienna.
The current Secretary General, Peter Bohynik, will be part of the General Secretariat as future Director General. He will be in charge of operational management and organisational tasks.
Sr. Christine Rod will be responsible for the external representation and the topical orientations of the ÖOK.
