America represents in its
totality 49,8% of the Catholics in the world, Europe 25,8%,
Africa 13,2%, Asia 10,4%, Oceania less than 1%.
The percentage of Catholics has decreased globally by 0.10%:
Africa: 60,22%, America: -0,42%, Europe: -0,03%. The only increase is
registered in Asia: +0,01%.
It is to be noted that 62,46% of Americans are Catholics, 39,59% of
Europeans, 26,39% of the inhabitants of Oceania, 16,89% of Africans and
less than 3% of Asians.

the
Conference of their country,
thus there can be a discrepancy between the official given statistics
and those of UCESM, it is the same for other countries.
