On 20 November, the UCESM Executive Committee went to Rome to have a meeting with the new Prefect of DICLSAL, Sr. Simona Brambilla, with the purpose of introducing themselves and getting acquainted with the new team at the Dicastery.
For over an hour, Fr. Janis, Sr. Olena, Sr. Angela and Fr. Mark-Robin had a lively conversation with Sr. Simona and with Sr. Tiziana Merletti, Secretary, and Sr. Carmen Ros Nortes, Under-Secretary, about the way they see UCESM changing in the near future and how the relationship between DICLSAL and UCESM could be made more consistent and fruitful.
The forthcoming UCESM-General Assembly in April 2026 in Croatia was also commented and Sr. Simona promised to attend this meeting, together with a member of her staff. The Committee looks forward to welcoming both in Marija Bistrica.
On the same day, the Executive Committee had lunch
with the Board of the UISG at their HQ.
