Following the election of Dom Bernardus Peeters ocso, former President of the Dutch KNR, as Abbot General of the Trappists in Assisi on 14 February 2022, Father Mark-Robin Hoogland cp was chosen by the members of the Conference in General Assembly as the new President of the KNR on 9 June 2022. His term of office is four years.
